The rating system would not be very useful if you could not use it to filter images in the application. Ratings can be removed with the shortcut Alt-0, and the same options are available in the right-click menu under Ratings. The keyboard shortcuts Alt-1 to Alt-5 may be used to assign ratings to files in the application from that moment on. I use Free Commander all the time and highly recommend it. Is anyone familiar with both & can recommend one or the other? If you run Faststone at same time - should you need to see an image larger - use it for that as easy to flick between the programmes for the few occasions it might help to see a larger view. Of course you may prefer larger image views but I find if you know your images reasonably well, especially if comparing, thumbnails are fine. That provides a far better way to view and sort files than Windows Explorer as can have side by side panels, so you can have your one folder on one side and other on other side.
